Adela is one of the films in competition in the recently concluded Cinemanila Film Festival held in Gateway Mall. It is directed by Adolfo Alix Jr about Adela, a former radio personality, who celebrates her 80th birthday. She tries to treat it like a normal day- doing her daily chores and duties but she can’t hide her loneliness and how she longs for her family. 
Its casts include Anita Linda, Jason Abalos, Joem Bascon, Angeli Bayani, and Arnold Reyes. With special participation from Iza Calzado, Ricky Davao, Perla Bautista and German Moreno.
